As a social scientist interested in “how the real world truly works”, I’ve always been fascinated by the seemingly all-powerful world of business and its inner dynamics.
My experience as a tech start-up co-founder allowed me to get a taste of what it truly means to be at the helm of a nascent company, from a financial as well as an emotional and relational point of view. My subsequent experience as a corporate consultant, through the Great Place to Work Institute, offered me the privilege of looking at large organizations from within, i.e., from the vantage point of the perspectives and sentiments of employees and managers, whose quality of inner intentions and motivations makes all the difference.
Over time, my professionalism naturally grew into that of a scientifically trained advisor, facilitator, and counsellor who is able to cut through the noise and talk about what really matters and what can make a difference, with a mindful and informed approach to ethical and sustainability-related issues. My tailored interventions aim to bring clarity, elevate the conversation, untangle inner and outer conflicts, generate new win-win ideas, and ultimately allow wiser ways of thinking and doing to emerge. I accomplish these goals by framing big, open questions such as:
- How can we better align around our priority objectives and purposes?
- How can we distinguish what is truly necessary from what is not?
- How can we make sure that we listen to what truly matters?
- How can we ensure that the right people are in the right roles?
- How can we give more to — and receive more from — our internal and external stakeholders?
- How can we simplify our daily work and pursue healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling lives?
